August 4th - Jo'burg to Durban

Durban Temple Construction

We drove to Durban -nearly an 8 hour trip on Friday the 4th. We met with our Church History Oral History Specialist, Judith Bray, at the site of the Durban Temple construction She and her husband are serving a mission - he to oversee the construction and she to record the history of it. We spent some time with her on recording oral histories and then went on to our lodging at Joan's B&B in North Durban. We could see the Indian Ocean from our balcony. The gardens are lovely - especailly the orchids growing on the trees!
