Mantenga Swazi Cultural Center

On April 15th we drove to Swaziland with Sarah & Rick's family. It took about 5 1/2 hours from Johannesburg with a border crossing. We went to the Swazi Cultural Center where we saw the Swazi's traditional huts (cool in summer and warm in winter; made of reeds and grasses and tied with handmade rope). We also saw nearby Mantenga Falls. After our village tour we attended a performance with traditional dances and music. It was a fascinating look at another culture and people.

Sarah & Rick's family arrived the morning of April 14th. We went to Lion Safari Park that afternoon to make sure they got to see some animals. We did the mini safari with the lions and wild dogs plus hyenas and other animals. I'm only posting a few of the many animal photos!
